- Renter and any authorized driver must have held a valid Driving License for at least 12 months and must present it at the time of rental. The license must be valid at the time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental period. International Driving License required for all non European countries.
- The minimum age of the renter for a car category A, B is 21 years and 25 years for all other groups.
- Additional driver must have a valid Driving License for at least one year. One extra driver is free of charge, fee for the second driver is 3,70 EUR (incl.VAT), max 37 EUR (incl.VAT).
- The car cannot be used for: transporting people or objects in the form of subletting, for transporting objects that could damage or pollute the vehicle, for racing, rallies, sports competitions, against custom regulations, for towing other vehicles.
- Rentals are based on 24 hours hire period. After a grace period of 59 minutes charge for additional day will apply.
- Fuel is not included in the rates. For vehicles rented with a full tank returned without the same quantity of fuel, a refuelling service will be charged in additional to the cost of the missing fuel, plus 35%.
- Collision and third party insurance is included in the renting price. The collision insurance does not comprise damages to window panes, tires, wheels, upholstery and acts of vandalism.
- Car delivery/collection within city limits is free of charge. In other case 0,40 EUR (incl.VAT) will be charged (after a prior acceptance by DRAGON-VIP) for each kilometre.
- Delivering/collecting a car to the Balice Krakow Airport cost 50,00 zł each time.
- One way rental between DRAGON-VIP offers additional equipment like child safety seat. In conformity with the law in Poland all children (age 0-11 years) who are transported in cars have to be secured with suitable safety seat. During booking a car renter is required to advice age of child.
Roof Rack - 5,00 EUR (incl.VAT) per day, max 50,00 EUR (incl.VAT).
Snow Chains - 5,00 EUR (incl.VAT) per day, max 50,00 EUR (incl.VAT).
- The customer can drive abroad our car except countries: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Albania.
- Special insurance documents must be purchased and information regarding cross the border has to be sent to DRAGON-VIP together with reservation. Additional cost for "green card insurance" depends on car group and rental period - regards non EU countries.
- Additional charge may be apply for cross the border by rented car in some DRAGON-VIP branches.
- Driving beyond the borders of Poland without a prior consent of DRAGON-VIP may be seen as theft of the car. In such case, DRAGON-VIP reserves the right to notify the police. DRAGON-VIP reserves the right to charge an additional fee for crossing the border of Poland in the rented vehicle.
- Renting fees are to be paid in advance and a security deposit of 1000 to 4000 PLN is required.
- Deposit will be returned in the same form as it been left for DRAGON-VIP.
- The car is handed over to the Lessee after an inspection and the same procedure id to be performed when the car is returned to the Lessor. DRAGON-VIP have 24h to check condition of rented car after collecting from renter.
- During the term of vehicle lease agreement, the Lessee is forbidden to make any alternation to the car. The Lessor must be immediately informed of any failure.
- Renter is oblige to cover all costs of unjustifiable replacing of the rented car.
- When using the car, the Lessee is obliged to: hold valid documents as provided for in the traffic Law; protect the car against theft (locking up the vehicle every time and switching on the alarms and blocking systems); perform standard servicing of the car at their own cost, such as checking and possibly refilling cooling liquid and motor oil; refilling the windshield sprayer liquid; checking the lights and changing the light bulbs or halogen lamps if necessary.
- In case the vehicle is stolen, broken into or damaged, the Lessee shall notify the Lessor and the nearest police station immediately and obtain a document stating the resulting losses.
- The Lessee is fully responsible for the damages, if:
- the damages are incurred as a result of deliberate action or gross negligence,
- the interior or the car, tires, hubcaps, mirrors or wipers are damaged, rims,
- the car's documents have been lost,
- they have driven the car when intoxicated with alcohol, drugs, or other substances, or without valid driving license,
- they have not returned the key and the vehicle registration card after the car has been stolen,
- the car radio panel has not been returned after the radio has been stolen,
- they have escaped from the scene of accident,
- they have driven the car into the territory of states mentioned in the General Terms,
- the insurer refuses to pay damages through the Lessee's fault.
- DRAGON-VIP reserves the right to refuse to rent a car without giving reasons, even if the client meets and accepts the requirements and procedures in force in the company.
- All disputers arising as a result of executing the lease agreement shall be resolved by the District Court for the city of Krakow.
- The LESSEE declares that they agree to having their personal data given to the DRAGON-VIP Car Rental Company put in the DRAGON-VIP's data base and processed according to the Act of 29.08.1997 (Journal of Laws [Dz.U] no. 133, item 883) for marketing purposes. The LESSEE declares that they have been informed that there is no legal obligation to disclose one's personal data and about the right to review them.
EVENT-RELATED CHARGES AND CONTRACTUAL PENALTIES- No vehicle registration card, no insurance policy, no registration plate or no registration sticker on the windshield - 200,00 pln.
- Each day of inactivity due to making up for the above:
- No key (without central lock remote control) - 200,00
- No key with the central lock remote control - 500,00
- Loss or damage to the alarm remote control - 200,00
- Loss of non-original hubcap - 50,00
- Loss of original hubcap - 100,00
- Loss of radio panel - 300,00
- Loss of technical documentation - 200,00
- Refilling of missing fuel acc to Shell Polska + 35%.
- Disassembly of part of the car's equipment or making other alterations or changes without the Lessor's consent 200,00 contractual penalty.
- Parts of the car equipment missing that are not specified in the pricelist - a charge acc. To the manufacturer's pricelist +15% margin.
- Loss of the car's warranty through the fault of the Lessee (person driving the car) - 5000,00 pln.
- Smoking tobacco in the car 250,00 contractual penalty.
- Making the car available to a persons not authorized to drive a motor vehicle 250,00 contractual penalty.
- Unauthorized transfer of the car beyond the borders of Poland 100,00 for each day of the car's staying abroad - contractual penalty.
